Aamir Khan's PK: Box Office Review

Aamir Khan-starrer 'PK' has collected around Rs 55.63-56.13 crore in the first two days, according to early estimates by trade website Koimoi.com. PK was released on December 19, a "normal" Friday, the website says, adding that this makes the film the "highest non-holiday opener" so far in 2014. The Rajkumar Hirani-directed film recorded estimated collections of Rs 26.63 crore on its opening day, followed by Rs 29-29.50 crore on December 20 - its first Saturday, Koimoi adds. PK's Day 2 business, therefore, saw an approximate growth of 9.8 per cent on its first Saturday compared to its opening day collections.
