Missing men found killed in Assam’s Bodo area


GUWAHATI: The bullet-riddled bodies of two men were found on Tuesday in a village in Assam's Baksa district, causing speculation that they were killed by Bodo militants. The deceased were identified as Jamal Khandeker and Yusuf Ali, police said. Police said the two men on Monday left their house in Salbari for Labdangguri in the Bodoland Territorial Area Districts (BTAD) for some work. But when they did not return home, their family members filed a missing persons complaint. Their bodies were found from near Labdangguri on Tuesday morning. Police said investigation is on to ascertain the reason behind their killing.
