Collector Ronald Rose has directed the Municipal
Commissioners to prepare an action for the distribution of water in
their respective municipalities so that everyone can get required
quantity of water without wasting it.
In a meeting
held with Municipal Commissioners here on Tuesday, Mr. Ronald said that
the existing borewells should be used at optimum level covering the
location they were placed in addition to hiring existing borewells
instead of proposing for new ones.
Responding to the
proposal made by Sadashivapet Municipal Commissioner, the Collectors
said that laying pipelines for the supply of water should be in
coordination with the proposed Water Grid plan that would become a
reality in the next two years.
He was serious with
Medak Municipal Commissioner for proposing new borewells without making
field visit. Sangareddy Municipal Commissioner asked Collector to see
that Manjeera officials release water to RWS and Metro simultaneously
instead of separately so that water should not be wasted.
Mr.
Ronald visited the revenue divisional office (RDO) at the district
headquarters and asked the officials to prepare the proposals for
integrated complex. He said that all the old buildings need to be
demolished and tenders should be called for demolition. It was also
suggested that all the engineering offices should be in a complex
