The State government’s Telangana Academy for Skill and
Knowledge (TASK) in association with Samsung has launched a week-long
training programme for final year engineering students on innovative
digital technologies using Samsung Tizen operating system at
Jyothismathi Institute of Technology and Sciences (JITS) on Tuesday.

district development officer A. Ganga Prasad and Samsung Spoc
representative Md Jaffer Pasha formally inaugurated the programme for
selected engineering students. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ganga
Prasad said Karimnagar stood second after Hyderabad in conducting such
training programmes for the benefit of engineering students.
Mr.
Jaffer Pasha said the Tizen digital operating system was developed by
Samsung digital academy. He said they would train the students on the
usage of Tizen open source application. He called upon the students
utilise the opportunity.
JITS chairman Juvvadi Sagar
Rao, principal A.R. Naseer, director K. Venkat Rao and others asked
students to strive hard to achieve their dreams by taking part in such
training programmes.
